Gold was given new meaning when Community First Bank (CFB) was recently honored with the golden “Delicious Apple” placard from the Reedsburg Area Medical Center (RAMC) Foundation. Gold, long known as a precious metal, was given new meaning, as a precious honor to CFB.
CFB was recently honored with receiving the “Delicious Apple” on the “Grove of Caring,” a donor recognition display which hangs in the main lobby of the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. As donors continue to contribute and benchmark amounts are met, they receive varying levels of recognition in the form of a Leaf, Stone, or Apple. The “Delicious Apple” recognizes donors who have contributed upwards of twenty thousand dollars. “Community First Bank has been a longtime supporter of our Foundation. Their continuous support of this area’s healthcare is appreciated and does not go unnoticed, “said Dale Turner, RAMC Chief Operations Officer. CFB’s apple will display the following message: Partnering with our Customers and Communities to successfully achieve their goals.
CFB has always supported the vital work of local charitable organizations and civic institutions, both through monetary contributions and hands-on volunteer activities. Community First Bank’s philosophy of giving is to help sustain organized efforts and enhance the quality of life in our communities, a philosophy that the RAMC Foundation promotes on various levels. “We appreciate the recognition from the foundation and look forward to continuing to support its efforts both monetarily and through volunteerism,” said Dan Klahn, President of Community First Bank.
